Remembering Jane Jones

This month is the second year anniversary of the sudden passing of Jane Jones. Jane was a longtime Birchgrove WI Member, Committee Member, “Meeter & Greeter” and a talented Florist.

A beautiful flowering Cherry tree was planted last year in Llwynfedw gardens (close to the building) – where it was hoped to be able to place a memorial plaque, purchased by Jane’s husband, Alan. Unfortunately, we heard this week from Alan that he has been refused permission by Cardiff Council to place the plaque at the tree. Jane’s family did arrange for a memorial bench in Heath Park, where she liked to walk her dog.
